In celebration of the 10 years of Civico 1845 and little Italy, a special chef collaboration menu has been curated for this summer. I had the pleasure of experiencing this menu firsthand and it was a delicious experience! It is such an accomplishment to achieve 10 years, and it is a huge statement to have so many chefs from San Diego come together in celebration of this monumental occasion.

The menu is titled “Calabrifornia”, which can be described as a blend of simple and flavorful ingredients celebrating the Southern Italian region and using locally source California ingredients. This fresh and modern spin on Italian cuisine is one you will not want to miss. This summer is a perfect time to stop in at Civico 1845 whether you have been a longtime patron or looking to try it for the first time!

The menu includes one dish per chef and will be served throughout this summer. The chefs and their dishes are the below. You will definitely know these names and to have the opportunity to try all their dishes in one place is amazing!
Accursio Lota, Cori Trattoria Pastificio: “Pasta dello Stretto” – Calamarata pasta, Calabrian red onion sauce, curry tomatoes confit, yellowfin tuna, olives, raisins, pine nuts
