O'side Flavor — September 16, 2026
Get the fall food festival season started at OsideFlavor, a coastal celebration of food, drinks, music and community in Oceanside. The 8th annual event takes place Wednesday, September 16, from 5–9 p.m. at SoCal Sports Complex.
The 21+ event features more than 100 vendors, two stages and more than 1,500 guests, creating a fun evening of food, drinks and live entertainment under the North County sunset. Tickets are currently available, with final-release and late-bird pricing listed by the organizers.
Del Mar Wine + Food Festival — September 30–October 4, 2026
The Del Mar Wine + Food Festival is one of the premier San Diego food and wine festivals, bringing together top chefs, beloved restaurants, wineries, breweries, distilleries and culinary personalities for a weeklong celebration.
The festival runs September 30 through October 4, with the signature Grand Tasting taking place October 3 and 4 at Surf Sports Park. The Grand Tasting features more than 100 chefs and restaurants and more than 150 wineries, breweries, distilleries and beverage makers, along with specialty culinary experiences.
Tickets are available for individual Grand Tasting days as well as a two-day pass, with General Admission, Early Entry and VIP options.
Taste of Oceanside — October 3, 2026
Spend an afternoon eating your way through Downtown Oceanside during Taste of Oceanside. Taking place October 3 from 1:30–5 p.m., this popular Oceanside food festival is a self-guided culinary adventure featuring approximately 70 food and beverage tasting stops.
Visitors can explore downtown restaurants, breweries, wineries and specialty food businesses while enjoying live music, DJs, local art and Taste Hubs. A new VIP First Taste experience gives guests early access beginning at 12:30 p.m., with exclusive tastings and additional entertainment.
La Mesa Oktoberfest — October 2–4, 2026
Looking for a fall food festival near San Diego with plenty of beer, German food and entertainment? Head to La Mesa Oktoberfest October 2–4.
The three-day celebration in Downtown La Mesa features traditional German and international food, beer gardens, live music, games, dachshund races, children's activities and more. General festival admission is free, while the Biergarten and VIP experiences offer additional ticketed options. Personal Note, my grandmother was a part of the original group to establish this beloved event!
The 2026 festival runs Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4.
Taste of North Park — October 3, 2026
Food lovers can sample their way through one of San Diego's most popular culinary neighborhoods at Taste of North Park.
Taking place Saturday, October 3, the event features more than 50 food tastes and 15 beverage sips throughout North Park. Guests can eat, sip, shop and stroll while discovering restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, bakeries and other local businesses. Live music and local art activations add to the experience.
This is a particularly popular event, and organizers note that it historically sells out several days before the event.
A Taste of Coronado — October 7, 2026
Take a culinary tour of Coronado during A Taste of Coronado, returning Wednesday, October 7, from 5–9 p.m.
Now in its 17th year, this popular Coronado food event allows guests to walk, bike or take the trolley around the island while sampling food and drinks from participating Coronado restaurants and businesses. The event brings together hundreds of food lovers while raising money for community causes, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Promises2Kids in 2026.
General admission tickets are currently listed at $79.99, while the limited VIP experience has already sold out.
La Jolla Art & Wine Festival — October 10–11, 2026
The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival combines art, food, wine, craft beer and live entertainment during a two-day celebration in Downtown La Jolla on October 10 and 11.
More than 170 artists from the U.S. and Mexico will showcase paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photography, ceramics and other works. Food, live entertainment and a ticketed Wine & Beer Garden featuring wine, craft beer and spirits make this a great addition to your fall San Diego food and wine festival calendar.
General admission to the festival is free, but the Wine & Beer Garden requires a separate 21+ ticket.
San Diego Food + Wine Festival — November 1–8, 2026
Finish the fall festival season with one of the biggest culinary events on the San Diego calendar: the San Diego Food + Wine Festival.
Taking place November 1–8, the weeklong festival brings together celebrated chefs, wineries, spirits producers, food makers and culinary experts from San Diego, Baja and beyond. More than 20 experiences are planned throughout the week, including dinners, culinary excursions, workshops and the festival's signature Grand Weekend.
The Grand Weekend kicks off with Icons + Legends on November 6, followed by the Grand Tasting on November 7 and Grand Fiesta on November 8 at Embarcadero Marina Park North.
