We recently spent the day exploring all the holiday fun in Coronado! There’s a lot to do whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family looking to add a few holiday traditions!

Coronado Golf Cart Rentals
The Coronado golf cart rental is a great way to experience Coronado at night! It’s San Diego’s equivalent to an open sleigh ride!
Be sure to book your experience as soon as possible, as the dates are already filling up this year! Your rental will start out with hot cocoa at the rental office and a map to guide you to all of the holiday lights. The highlights of the tour included the Hotel Del Coronado, where they featured their Wizard of OZ light display as well as the Candy Cane Lane on Country Club Lane.
The cart made it a bit easier to navigate the area and it was easier to find parking. However, you have to obey the street laws as you are on a street legal vehicle. So be sure you’re parking in legal spots and that you’re taking the key with you when you leave!
Map out your route 90-minute route in advance and save time to stop at the Bayview Park look out spot. It's absolutely gorgeous!
You can book your Coronado golf cart rental through this link.

The Gondola Company
Located in the Cornado Kays, you can experience your very own gondola ride at sunset! The gondolas are decked out in the holiday decor, and your gondolier is dressed in a Tipsy Elf Suit!
Since I had never been on a gondola ride, this was very exciting for me! I really enjoyed getting to experience the sights of San Diego from across the bay. I highly recommend ordering a bottle of bubbly to take on the gondola with you. You can bring one with you or get one at the office. The Gondola Company provides festive glasses to elevate to your experience!

I would plan to book your ride at sunset and try to experience both the sunset and the Christmas lights of San Diego. I suggest bringing cozy blankets along with you and dressing warm for this outing as it can get chilly on the water.
I really appreciated how nice the gondolier made our ride, and the music selection was excellent for experiencing extreme holiday cheer! Book your Holiday ride here before they float away!
Ice-skating by the Sea at The Hotel Del
Ice-skating at The Hotel Del is classic holiday fun in Coronado. With the backdrop of the gorgeous hotel and the view of the ocean it’s not to be missed. This event requires booking well in advance if you want a specific time, and I recommend that you get your reservation now. Ice-skating is available for all levels of experience and there are ice-skating stands to help you if you need extra stabilization.

This event is 90 minutes long and proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish San Diego! While you’re there, I recommend checking out one of the restaurants on site. I also love shopping and picking up ice cream while at the hotel. Finally, you should check out the light display celebrating the Wizard of Oz that runs throughout the evening.
The Hotel Del can get extremely crowded and parking is a little difficult so please plan a lot of time in advance so that you can get to your destination easily and without stress.
