SeaWorld San Diego‘s Howl-O-Scream event is a great Halloween experience and a fun way to spend an October evening. Even better, if you are a season passholder, it’s an especially great value!

The special Halloween event includes five horror mazes, three of SeaWorld amusement park rides, and several scare zones creating a thrilling evening! In addition to the scares and rides check out the Jack the Ripper themed show including live music and dancing! On top of the entertainment there are themed drinks and snacks throughout the event space.

This was my third year attending the Howl-O-Scream event and I have to say they’re adding a little bit more each year making the event better than the last year. This year, I especially enjoyed the additions made to the 3-D house. The Clown Maze (The Carnival of Chaos) is consistently my favorite. Each year they build on it, making the 3-D effects a little better each year.

I was provided the front of the line pass which helped me get through all of the event space within three hours which left time for dining and experiencing the scare zones. If you have a SeaWorld pass check out your member portal for special certificates that include discounted tickets to Howl-O-Scream as well as front of the line passes and other exciting perks.

Please note none of the animal exhibits are not open during this time. They are tucked away fast asleep and if you were interested in experiencing any of the animal exhibits, be sure to purchase a day pass or pick up a SeaWorld Fun Card.

Thank you to SeaWorld San Diego for inviting me to experience this event to share my info experience with you!
