I recently took Tieks ballet flats on my European vacation and had the opportunity to wear them a bit around Paris. The shoes were a welcome change to the typical boots or heels that I was wearing on this trip. They were compact however; I didn’t find them so lightweight that they were not protecting the souls of my feet. As you can imagine a lot of the streets in Paris are older and cobblestoned. They tend to wreak havoc on the soft under foot of the American tourist!

I chose the Black Obsidian Style and found that to be a great option for all of my Paris outfits. The hundred percent patent leather shoe was soft and the rubber sole made it comfortable. With the signature teal soul and the glossy black finish these were a great compliment for the rest of my Parisian outfits.

You can pick from a large variety of Tieks ballet flats. They come in a multitude of colors and finishes. They all come with their own travel pouch as well as their compact folding feature. You can fold the shoes into each other and easily carry it in the bag that comes with it! Honestly, I have to say that these shoes are after my millennial heart, often carrying slippers or sandals with me when I spent evening out in the past, and the Tieks ballet flats are definitely nostalgic for me.

Overall, I was happy to get off my feet and into my Tieks!
